Hi,

I bought this today - very, very cheap, and now I know why! - no instructions!. Ive been searching the web for 2 hours and found absolutely nothing about this remote anywhere!

the packaging says it is a mitsubishi black diamond BD-512 universal remote control and that it can control 8 devices. it says it is pre-programmed but i assume i need to put a code in to get it working with my devices - trouble is i dont know how to. its got a "set" button which i tried pressing and holding , but it stays lit, there are no "double flashes" or anything like that - in fact every button on the remote does the same, just makes the led come on till you let go of the button

can anyone shed some light on this?

cheers

Hi

I also recently purchased a Mitsubishi BD-512! It came with a tiny instruction booklet which is very poorly produced, but the controller works fine. Let me know if you still need help and I will supply a .pdf of the pages. It will not be great quality!!!

Hello Cranfield

I'm in the same boat as mattylamb. I'd be grateful if you could send me a copy of those instructions too.

With thanks

cranfield, If you're going to .PDF them anyway, why not send them to Daniel Tonks (the webmaster) to include in the "Files" section of the website?
god helps those who help themselves.
For the rest of us, there's www.google.com

Did you notice that nobody above ever got a reply, except the one poster who said he had a PDF file of the manual.

You should try and contact him directly for the manual.

Bought one today, very cheap, works OK (as seen in NETTO)

1)  If target m/c is VCR/DVD etc, make sure a tape/disk etc, is loaded.
2)  Look up code for your TV/VCR etc.
3)  Press & hold SET key.
4)  Select TV1 (e.g. if a TV is target m/c); led comes on, release both keys. You now have 10 secs to input code.
5)  Input 3-digit code, - led goes out. Done.
Repeat, using TV2 etc for second target m/c.
If code is incorrect, led flashes twice and stays on. Try inputting correct code this time!

Hope this helps.
