Dontcha just hear the Monty Python singers getting ready to start singing? :)
I can't believe that people still post their email addresses in public forums.

The instructions for programming this remote are
posted earlier in this thread. As this thread
is now 3 pages long and is full mostly of posts
like the one above, it tends to imply that the
instructions are buried and not easy to find,
so it's for that reason that I have also posted
them in a seperate thread...

Hey, I also have that remote. Would you possibly be able to e-mail me the codes? My batteries died and we replaced them but lost the list of codes.

Define "doesn't work". If you mean the LED doesn't light up, then it's probably broken. If you mean that you can't find a code for one of your European devices, then it's probably because the code is missing.

Yes, LED lights but no code works. I first tried with provided codes, after with code search, and finally tried to "teach" some functions with the original remote but nothing works. I've even tried all the steps with all my remotes: TV, DVD and SAT. And none of them work.
Can it be because of different IR frequency? or the remote might be not working properly?

If none of the supplied codes work for any of your devices, it is quite possible that the remote is broken. The likely candidate would be the IR-LED, so if you're handy with this sort of thing, you could check if it's loose and needs to be re-soldered. It could also need replacing.

Of course, another possibility is that the batteries are too weak!
