hello all. i have also have a remoto control philips universal and it also works with the button 1+3 but i lost the codes. can anywone post it to me? and there was a way to do it automaticly but i don`t kwon how to do it anymore can somewone help me with it my email adres is renken@planet.nlthank you

The same happened to me I guess downloaded all the PDFs for Phillips/Magnavox remotes with the same number of devices until I saw a pic of my remote on one.

Hi, I also have a philips universal tv rc, but mine is so simple that doesnt have any number buttons, just vol up/down and program up/down, how can I program it? thanks

Actually, the PHDVD5 is a five device remote. The one in the picture is a 4 device remote. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they used the same code. The thing about the auto search is it doesn't always work. I know from experience if I search for the code for my JVC TV I never find it. But when I enter it in from the manual it does work. So I wrote the code ontop of the TV. Unfortunately my wife decided to wash the TV...
