Is it only available to beta testers or also to Level 2/Level 3 professionals? The reason why I'm asking is that I'm missing a lot of pages on the Professionals section that I did have before. (forum etc) Does any one still have the forum listed on the Professionals section?

PEPV2 is beyond beta and awaiting release. Not sure why you are missing pages but periodically this will occur on a Philips site when it is being "upgraded". Check back later.

So if linking is no longer supported, how are macro's utilized in Ver 2 or not?

Currently have macros separated in pages where they can be re-used if required, guessing now all the commands will have to be included within each button?

I really hope that the script editor in PEP2 will support synthax highlighting!
Currently I have to copy&paste the code into a "true" editor and then back to PEP.

And: is there a chance that the emulator will support ProntoScript?
It's not really comfortable to have to transfer the project to the device all the time to test the code.

Emulator will support ProntoScript but anything that uses network, including extenders will not be supported.

No syntax highlighting. ProntoEdit is NOT a javascript code editor. However, scripts can be extracted to the file system such that the editor of your choice may be used.

I don't seem to be able to open that link (I do have Level 1 certification). What's the trick?

PEP1 is nothing more than a TSU9600/TSU9400 version of the original ProntoEdit.

PEP2 is radically different and greatly improved. I am excited about it.

Because the link is not correct.

Note: somehow remotecentral changes the way how the link is displayed, but if you put the cursor over the link, you can see the difference.

Will any new javascript classes or methods be exposed with the release of PEP2?

Nope. The 5.0.6 firmware will be used with PEPV2.

Is the simulator in PEP v2 larger than PEP V1 ? That is the only thing I feel should be fixed. I have a widescreen monitor and low resolutions do not work well . My current resolution is 1360 x 768 with Windows XP .
