DVD review: Releases have been slow during the past few weeks (and I've been short of time!) but I've posted my look at the legal drama, A Civil Action, starring John Travolta.

Silver Pronto: A common question asked by folks who have visited the new Philips Pronto web site is "Is that really a silver Pronto -- and where can I get it". Well, the answer is yes, that really is a silver Pronto. When the Pronto is launched in Europe this September it'll be available only in silver, along with a slightly modified CCF file including a few new button labels. Unlike North America which seems stuck on the color Black (or "midnight" or "charcoal" or "graphite" or any other impressive marketing monkier), overseas consumer electronics companies have been providing their equipment in either silver or gold. While I personally detest shiny metal colors glinting in my eyes, I suppose I'm in the minority.
