I currenty have a dual LNB with a feed running to my two recievers. I also use and off air antenna. I have bought a new oval dish in order to get local channels for the Tivo and will soon add a HD reciever to my Home theater.
My qeustion is do I have to run extra line from each LNB on new Oval Dish to each reciever. Also If I setup the 3rd LNB which would make total of six lines. Could I use a 3 to 4 muliplexer and only feed one cable to each reciever and then break ten out. The 3 to 4 I have seen Label 2 LNB and 1 ANT on it.

Last question first: no. If you use only one cable from each dual LNB, you'll only get either even or odd channels. Multi-switches permanently set each LNB element to one polarity. Read my post in the Multi-switch and Cable thread.

Each receiver (or, more exactly, each tuner; dual-tuner receivers need two) will need only one cable.

You will need a multiswitch with two inputs for each dual-LNB. Sounds like you will need a 7-in/4-out switch. Good luck.

You don't need the middle LNB hooked up unless you want local channels from North Carolina. The Sat-C kit will come with a special LNB and connector to add it to your existing multiswitch.

Some people with more elaborate setups will use a standard LNB there alonge with some more switches to get both Dish and DirecTV service from one dish.

Thanks for the info Larry. So it looks like I need one feed from each LNB to each reciver., by using a mutli swtich I cut that down to one cable to the reciever and then do a break out.
