Last question first: no. If you use only one cable from each dual LNB, you'll only get either even or odd channels. Multi-switches permanently set each LNB element to one polarity. Read my post in the Multi-switch and Cable thread.

Each receiver (or, more exactly, each tuner; dual-tuner receivers need two) will need only one cable.

You will need a multiswitch with two inputs for each dual-LNB. Sounds like you will need a 7-in/4-out switch. Good luck.
