We just brought home the IS-TVHD30 and we have DirectTV tivo box model R52180. We found a code that makes the more common features (Mute, Volume, and Power) work on the DirectTV remote under the Satellite switch with no hinky switching back and forth business. Code 0100 under the Mitsubishi section. Inputting works, but you do have to switch over to TV, hit input--use the channel up or down to select, and press volume DOWN to set it. Hope this helps! Hello fellow fustrated Insignia TV buyers.
I just brought home a new Insignia 30" HDTV (IS-TVHD30),
and like most was unable to find a code for my
Direct TV remote. However, I was able to find
one that does power on/off the TV and allows you
to adjust the volume.
Code 10150 under the Memorex brand seems to do
the trick. The only wacky thing (if your Direct
TV remote is like mine) is with the slide switch
acroos the top of the remote. Inorder to power
the TV on/off you'll have to slide the switch
to the TV position and use the PWR button just
below the slide switch, NOT the 'tv power' ON
button. Once the TV is on slide the switch back
to the Direct TV cyclone logo and you'll also
have volume control of the Insignia TV.
Kind of goofy, but I hope this helps.

I was looking for Comcast HDTV cable receiver remote control(silver box)code for our 32" Insignia HDTV.finally Memorex Code (0150)worked fine for me.

I found it!!!!
I have a new Insignia 27" (not flat) TV. I also have a Hughes reciever which is a DirectTV/Tivo 70 hour reciever.
The Emerson code of 0091 Worked!!!! I went through over 100 before finally finding it. I hope this helps others.

Just FYI, the 10463 code in the DirecTV remote is equivilent to the TV/0463 code which can be found in most "One For All" and "Radio Shack" remotes.
For the technically inclined, this uses NEC2 with a device code of 134.5
This code is also used by the following brands...
Admiral
Brooksonic
Emerson
Memorex
Orion
Sansui
TVS
White Westinghouse
Zenith

Anybody have any idea what code I can use with an Olevia Syntax 30 with the DirecTV remote? (standard remote that comes with the H20).

hello everyone i'm new here. i just signed up, i dont know if i'm posting this in the right thread or not but i went to google search and this is one of the link that they gave me. ok i just bought a used 27" flat screen tv Insignia and it didnt come with a remote. i have other brand remotes for vcr that might work for the insigina but i dont know the code for it. i have a Panasonic, toshiba emerson, philip, magnavox and sylvania remote. can anyone help me out??? thank you very much.

helps others. I have a 32" flat screen Insignia, and I'm happy to report that 0091 worked on my Tivo Remote (not a directtv tivo, but just the plain old series 2 40 hour tivo).

Hope this helps! 0150 works with my One For All remote (URC-9910 IR/RF Link). This allows me to operate the Directv box in another room via the RF Link feature. I also found that with the RCA Directv remote code 1082 will work.
