Hi,

Thanks to all who worked on this issue - I was another frustrated Vista 64 bit user, until I hit on this thread :)

Nice work all.

For those having problems modding the files themselves
after installation, the modified versions of both "ProntoEdit
Professional 2.0.exe" and "ProntoDataService.exe" are
available here for a while with basic instructions on
how to replace them (until I get it into downloads section).

Thanks dude. This worked nice. much appreciated.

Thanks to everyone for their efforts in resolving this issue but I'm having an issue running the batch file fix offered by Krazz. I'm getting a "side-by-side configuration is incorrect" error when it attempts to make the corflags change.

The file replacements offered by Roti worked great for Ver 2.0.34 but does anyone have new replacement files for Ver 2.0.35?
Ver 2.0.35 was just recently released on Oct. 6th and is listed as a fix for several issues that have previously been listed in the forum.

I see the new 2.0.35 version is not yet listed in the downloads section of RemoteCentral. If RemoteCentral needs the file it can be found on Philip's Pronto site. Or I can upload it if needed.

UPDATE: Daniel has now updated the files section with the new ver 2.0.35!

I've been using Pronto remotes since the NEO. I've always found RC to be an invaluable resource to allow me to use the remotes to their full potential. I thank you all.

Hi,

Is there a fix for version 2.0.35 of PEP V2 to work with Vista 64-bit?
I could not get it to open after the install so I went back to 2.0.34 for now.
If anyone knows, please tell me if possible, thanks.

Thanks Roti! :-)

I'll plug them in later and let you know if I run into any issues but I'm sure it'll work fine.

How come they have not fixed this issue with version 2.0.35? Come on! We are in 2008 and it doesn't work on Vista 64?
