Here's my two cents:
Running CreativeLabs 6x player with the DXR3 board, and I also noticed some brief hangs, with a corresponding audio dropout, but no dead stops. It's distracting, but not devastating.
Has anyone with the hang / skip / freeze problems returned their disk, or resolved their issues successfully?
