Plain and simple, where can I purchase an RTI on-line by a company that is authorized by you folks.

Who has the best remote?

If there were hi-end custom a/v dealers everywhere we would not see this problem. But hey welcome to the internet dudes. We like to buy on-line my friends.

RTI's post's will go below this message:

Check in with Etronixs.com ....... I believe there is a thread saying they were working on getting authorized or already had been.

Greg :-)

Sorry about taking up the space that RTI was supposed to!!! ;-)

Definitely www.etronixs.com. I believe they are the only authorized RTI online dealer and they are great to work with.

I can certainly recommend buying from Etronixs. Eventhough their price of the T2 by itself does not seem like a bargain, you should consider the package deal with the IRF-6. I actually purchased these items separately over a timespan of a few months. Then the package deal came along. Called them, and they gave me a credit. No hassle. These guys will treat you like an individual customer.

Yep, Hate to take away all of RTI's space where I guess they were to suppose to reply back to.

I also have to agree with the guy's above. Etronixs.com has been a great company to deal with!

I purchased my first pronto from them, some bulk monster speaker cable. Now the famous RTI T2 remote. Waiting for the RS-232 adpt. to come out. I will buy that too.
they seem to be a growing company, but are keeping there cool and still give away great prizes. Highly suggest them if you need a remote!

I resisted saying anything until this became the Etronix thread.

I wish some of the dozens of my customers who saved well over $100 off their T2’s would way in.

Choices empower us all. I chose to go with Home AutomationNet and save a few $ ($559.95 + $18.80 Shipping). I ordered this past Sunday night. The remote was in my hands Tuesday morning. Can't beat that for service!

-Eillot, you might want to make sure that RTI honor's that warranty from Homeautomationnet - As of 5 months ago they were not an authorized dealer for RTI. I called them to find a local dealer in my small crappy town. None- So I asked them where to purchase it on line. They only listed (1) company at the time. Don't know if they have increased there internet dealers or not.

Power to be, It is all about the company that can give you the best suport and great customer service. My customer service vote goes towards etronixs.com.
Besides, I belive they are an authorized internet dealer for RTI which could help in the future!

Shanem,

I'm not too worried about buying from an authorized dealer. I've purchased many items online, some from authorized and unauthorized. One of the items I purchased from an unauthorized dealer went bad. The product manufacturer honored the warranty without question. There is too much potential for bad-will if large companies start ignoring their customers need for warranty service.

As far as the T2 goes, I purchased mine from Home AutomationNet and have been very happy with the service. My T2's backlight died and a replacement was sent within 2 days. I am sure Etronixs is a great company, but I feel I have received just as good if not better service from Home AutomaionNet and the price was considerably less than Etronixs.

As always just my 2 cents.

I just emailed RTI to find out about who is and who is not an authorized dealer. I asked the question discussed about the warranty so we can put an end to this bickering. I purchased my remote from etronixs because they were the first place to sell them and RTI recommended them. I have had nothing but great service for RTI and Etronixs and have been in contact with both after my purchase. Like most people having someone to call that is knowledgable about the products they are selling is worth the few extra dollars. Everytime I have called etronixs someone has been able to answer my question. Also, they seem to be helping out our buddy Daniel with this great site. As you know a fantastic site like this does not exist for free.
