This is the up todate post of the Lawyer's action.
In the UK this could make a lot of so called manufacturers worried

It seems somewhat ironic that having been hailed as a purveyor of quality goods, the new Panasonic TUCTH100 (digital terrestrial, twin tuner, receiver/PVR) seems to be a bit of a dog.

As for the Tiny issue, I believe those who've fallen into the trap are extremely fortunate to have Lawyer on their side. Mind you, nothing focuses the mind more than a vested interest.

I'm just interested in replacing the Pace Twin.

Initially, the obvious choice was the Humax PVR9000T, but that seems to be acquiring the status of internet myth - been mooted for the best part of two years and seems no nearer reality now than it did then.

Then Panasonic announced the TUCTH100 (has a real ring to it, doesn't it) and I thought "great, a truly major player is joining the fray", but as you can see, major player or no, one could hardly say it’s been received with open arms.

Of course, Panasonic may have been panicked into releasing it too soon by the sudden arrival of the Topfield TF5800T. Spec. seems wonderful and those that have bought one report no obvious flaws and reliable operation. This seems to be the one then, but I’m a little unsure about certain aspects of operation and the Inverto IDL 7000 PVR is also due for release soon.

Think I’ll hang on for just a little longer.
