This does not apply to any Buffalo or Rochester stations.

Thanks for the update,
but CIII-Ayr still blocks new signal despite larger pattern.

(Thought he would have gone for class A license on VHF.)

That's cutting it close!
His argument is interference from WNYO's new cite in Grand Island on .

WBXZ :RF 23 is better than RF 17 with WNYO going to RF 16 and CIII Toronto going to RF 17 too.Its really the same 2 stations going from RF 17 to RF 23.Rf 23 is WBXZ best choice.VHF low is totally useless .

Sorry for the delay in response.
(1)  If WBXZ-LP's move away from  is because of WNYO's move to ,
then wouldn't CHCH-DT have the same concern with CITS-DT's move to RF ?

(2) I understand the concerns with (low) VHF, but WNYB-DT is moving to  next year with increase ERP which will give it a stronger pattern in Southern Ontario.  I think if WBXZ-LP moved to  with a vast increase in power, it could go non-directional.  I think he's missing a big opportunity by not reaching Southern Ontario.

CTS and CHCH Hamilton are on same tower and have similar signal strengths so should be okay.WNYB will find out that no one in GTA will be able to get them or are un willing to use a roof top VHF low antenna to receive them.Look at how few in GTA can receive WBBZ on RF 7 at 26kw directional North.

I would Rather have WBBZ then any other stations. Its the only one that has any decent shows on METV. I hope after all is send and done that it will be available in the Brampton area or even Missisauga.

"Look at how few in GTA can receive WBBZ on RF 7 at 26kw directional North. "

If you've ever been down to Springville, you'd notice how short the WBBZ Tx tower is. Power would be fine if the Tx was higher up.

"WNYB will find out that no one in GTA will be able to get them"

Many who get them now just remove 26.x from channel list.

"I think if WBXZ-LP moved to with a vast increase in power,"

With a vast increase in power, it wouldn't be a LP any longer.

"...may have to settle for temporary side-mount antennas and loss of coverage for three to five years because there aren't enough tower rigging crews to go around. "
