A little clarification required.

  • Which model of Tevion TV do you have?

  • Which model of Jumbo remote do you have?

  • Which instructions, TV or remote, has most (?) codes as 4 digit?

  • Which codes are 3 digit?

N.B. Most Jumbo remotes (those mentioned in the "sticky" certainly do) have 3 digit codes. Recently, however, this chap's post suggests the Maxim jumbo sports 4 digits, but the only one, which I know for certain has 4 digit codes, is the Chunghop RM-A4 - and that has half a dozen Tevion codes listed.

Similar to it Yes apart from the coloured buttons at the bottom don't have letters on them. It also only goes up to 10.
The pic is exactly the same as my remote except by Arcadia

If that's your actual remote, the manual for it can be found here (it's also be badged by any number of different suppliers). It, however, uses 3 digit codes so I'm a little confused as to which/what instructions suggested the use of 4 digits.

Furthermore it has no codes listed for Tevion (a brand most prominently associated with the Aldi chain) so a code search, or a trawl through all the codes individually, are the only options.

If neither of those work, the likelihood is there is no code.

PS
My image in post 4 is of the Maxim version which, as previously mentioned, is supposed to sport 4 digit codes and can be found here. I've been toying with the idea of buying one just to see.

Thanks yes it def that remote but when I type 3 digit codes the red light stays on. But if I type 4 digits the light goes off as. It would be typical that there isn't a code out for tevion !! I've read a few people saying tevion is the same as medion and Konka

The Innovage manual lists 6 codes for Konka, but nothing for Medion so I've tried the Chunghop manual. (I appreciate it's a different remote, but if as some are saying Tevion=Medion=Konka, one would expect some similarity).

The Chunghop manual lists 18 codes for Konka, 12 codes for Medion and 6 for Tevion. All the Tevion codes are common to Medion, but only 2 are common to all three. This suggests then that Tevion does equal Medion. Konka, however, might be a little more problematic.

As for the 3/4 digit codes, I'm a little at a loss. Perhaps there is a new breed of 4 digit Jumbos on the loose. Maybe I will buy that Maxim after all.

Hi

This is the Jumbo remote I have, but your link leads to the Innovage manual which does NOT have this configuration (a SET button top left and a Mute/Search) button.

All manuals refer to the one with a Code Search top left?

Please can anyone point to the proper instructions

TIA

Forgot to say, I have tried all combinations of SET + POWER. TV +SET etc etc to get the correct lighting sequence, but fail every time. Pressing TV and then holding SET down does not cause the light to come on??

Also would this unit have 3 or 4 digit codes for Teknica TVs, please????

TIA

Jumbo remotes are novelty items that are, generally, mass produced in the far east and badged under a variety of names. These resellers rarely have support websites so our only means of obtaining instructions/codes is to either buy them ourselves or have those who already own one be good enough to copy and upload the manual to the website.

Alas I'm yet to get around to the former and unfortunately the latter rarely happens, so the only advice I can offer is to point you in the direction of Amazon. £6 (inc. delivery) will get you a new remote and instructions, though I think it questionable as to whether any will have codes for Teknica
