The RC2000 remote manual can be found online by going to the Marantz website and downloading the owners manual for the Plasma monitor - PD4292D. The RC2000 comes bundled with the Plasma monitor and the manual is on page 5 of the Plasma manual.

Thanks for the info!

This version is not identical to the one that comes with the RC2000 alone, but is now available from me if you email me at gregmit@mts.net.

It appears to be a very slightly different version, but I don't see any information missing.

I have deleted anything having to do with the Plasma monitor and only left the RC2000 instructions.

P.S. Because of this, I won't be worrying about getting my scanner fixed. The quality wasn't that great anyway, due to the extremely fine text in the manual.

I've tried sending the PDF to some of you, and your email can't take the file - it is 3.75MB, not much less when zipped.

So, watch for Rob and Josh's posts about when they get it on their sites for your download.

I've reduced the file to 2.17 MB, so if your email can take that, let me know.

Well, not having worked with Adobe Acrobat too much in the past, I've managed to trim it down to 506KB, which is far more manageable.

Again, anyone who wants it can email me or wait for it on other sites.

I got the manual everyone, but it seems like my mail server took a dive so it will take me awhile to fix the mail server.

Ok, I have it up on my server right now. This is kind of a hack but when I fix my mail I'll work on a better way to get the file, but right now just enter is url in your browser:

Works fine! Thanks a bunch, josh!

It may take a while for non-broadband people to download, but still a whole lot shorter than trying to figure out the entire remote!

And once you have it downloaded, you're in business!

Thanks again!

Do you still have this file? I could sure use one as I just bought this remote used with no manual.

Whoever needs an RC2000 manual, send me
an email. I am scanning mine and making a PDF
of it, for anyone to have.

Mine is for the RC2000MK2, but I'm sure
would be useful even for the MK1 users.

Wayne: If you notice just above, it says to send me an email and I'll send you the PDF.

I am not a member of the Yahoo group, and have no need to be, so I have emailed you the PDF for you to upload.

I need owners manuals for the Marantz RC2000 universal learning remote and Marantz SR 780 receiver if anyone has them in a format I can open, please. I can't find them ANYWHERE!!!

E-Mail me at ssanstit@cox.net

Thanks,
Dan
