I acquired a Marantz 2000 and I need a manual, or highlights for learning mode, set-up, programming, codes, etc... I haven't found any useful info on the web.

Whoever needs an RC2000 manual, send me an email. I am scanning mine and making a PDF of it, for anyone to have.

Mine is for the RC2000MK2, but I'm sure would be useful even for the MK1 users.

What is the difference between a MK I and II ?

The MK II is slightly more advanced. From what I know there is more memory for macros and they added the channel up and down buttons and a slightly different layout of buttons (why this was not on the original MK 2K, I don't know)

I'm going to scan it in this weekend. Sorry, people, but this week has been very busy.

Greg,

You are doing us all a great service just by scanning the Manual. I cannot believe there is no support or info for this remote on the web.

Greg

My inlaws just bought a new house and the previous owners left a pair of rc2000MKII but no manual. Being the resident electronic enthusiast, i've been given the task of reprogramming them. If you get a chance to scan the manual, please forward it to me.
thanks again

Hi Greg,
If you can, will you please email to me the Marantz RC2000 manual you scanned?
I got the remote minus its manual with a used Marantz A/V receiver I bought but haven't been able to find a manual for it online except for your posting.
If you can help I'd appreciate it!
Thanks again.
