The Pronto has learned the following code. Try to guess what it's from...
0100 000D 0001 0000 0003 0000

If I'm doing the math right, it is one IR pulse lasting 10 microseconds.
I can think of lots of things that might do that, but no one possibility that stands out.
I don't know enough about photography to know where that would use electronic flashes that fast, but I assume there is some use.
Bad enough batteries in an ordinary remote could do that. But I don't think you'd post that as "try to guess".
I think that's the right time scale for a spark of static electricity. But I think you'd be more careful with your Pronto than to try that.

If johnsfine can't guess it, I'll bet nobody else will.

can you at least give us a hint or two, like (1)is it a good learn : or did you do something weird (like try to learn through MTFB) (2) is it remote/IR related
it obviously cannot be both
like John said it is a one time 9-10 microsecond burst.
how fast is a strobe?

Remember that we don't really know how long this burst is. A Pronto doesn't learn accurately at this speed. So if it indicates 10 microseconds it's probably between 1 and 20, but I wouldn't bet on more accuracy than that.

Well, here's another from the same thing:
0100 000D 0000 0001 0003 0F3B
And I will say that I am somewhat surprised the Pronto captures these codes reliably...

OK, so 10 microseconds on, 13 milliseconds off repeating,
red eye reduction?

I got it. Remember the movie "Signs"? Daniel finally took off the foil from his head that prevented the Aliens from reading his mind.
What most folks may not know is that Daniel has a Positronic Brain, just like Commander "Data" of STTNG. Now he's got the Pronto reading his thoughts!
