I get an error "can't upload configuration from rc device" when I try yo upload into Pronto Edit. Everything else works as it should. I installed the firmware upgrade but that didn't help. Some of my codes have to be learned by the remote and if I can't upload the config then I can't make any changes in PE and download them. Talked to tech support and they were no help. Hope someone has some ideas. Thanks.

Turn on the display before any connection, down or upload. Best way to do this is to press and hold the backlight button until the down/upload starts.

Some people have trouble uploading a very large CCF on a Pro, particularly on older computers.
If this is your problem, set up a tiny CCF to learn your codes, download it, learn the codes, upload and merge into your main CCF.

Have you been able to upload previously? If not, what operating system are you using?

What do you mean you moved some gallery files?
Were they in your ccf and you downloaded them to your remote?

Rob Yes. While I was building the remote I kept them with it. I now realize my mistake. Bill

Once a button/icon goes into the ccf it stays there. There is no need to download the whole gallery with the ccf.
