Hi there,

When I use the original remote control to learn a new command to iPronto, the iProntoEdit software assigns the "Learned IR code" name to the command. My intention was to remane every command to a more logical one such as "TV Power On". When I do that however and exit iProntoEdit when I run the program again my assigned name disappears and the generic "Learned IR code" name appears again. So I end up with a series of commands with the same name and I do not know which is which. Anyone experienced this? Is there a solution?

Thanks

I build an individual matrix page for each remote. The boxes are each labeled with their function. I then branch to this page whenI need the button. Most often these matrix's are needed for more than one page. Also makes it easy to add pages or update pages.

I know the thread is only 13 years old but did anyone ever figure out how to make "Learned IR Code" renames stick? Like the first posts says, they disappear after saving and re-opening.

The second reply does not seem to work either.
