I'm using IE8 and I am having problems going from page to page on your site. Should I be using Firefox to view your site? I keep getting 504 errors, the zip download only gets me an html page and not a file.

Do you have a file with all the icons already zipped? Would you like me to host the file on my Rapidshare account for those who have the same problem?

Great icons (from what I've seen so far) and kudos for the effort.

hey conchchowder.
i'm not sure what the issue was yesterday, but i would check back today. the site has had a weird bug since 11/1/08 causing it to crash, afterwhich i restart it. i hope shaun can iron out the issue this weekend. oh, and the site should work with all the latest browser versions.
to date i don't have a single zipped file of all the icons. currently there are 3400 total and more are added every week per immediate requests. many are regional that most people wouldn't want. i appreciate your offer to host such a file, but right now i don't have the time to keep updating regional .zip files with new icons.
let me know if you continue to have issues with the site after next monday.
thanks for the kudos!

First off Squareeyes, great job.

But I am having a problem with the size. I can't see all the icon on my remote. I am in the Diode mode. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Tried to scan through the 14 pages of this thread but didn't see anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

monk,
that's the first i've heard of that issue. i would need to know more to be able to figure it out. i assume you're downloading the icons for the harmony one. have you used the harmony software to load them to your harmony one remote?

No doubt I did something wrong... but it seemed so simple.

I downloaded the icons from your site. I unzipped the file and put them in the my pictures Then I went into the browse feature of my harmony software and set them all up. The only icon that looks sized right was the Fox one I used from Harmony.

monk,
can you take a picture of the remote screen with the distorted favorite icons and post it or p/email it to me? it may go a long way to solving the issue.

Can someone tell me how to program the remote so that the 'enter' button is hit after I click on a favorite. Right now there is a few seconds delay before the box will change channels and I'd like it to be instantaneous.

Thanks

In the software, click on the device tab, select your device and click on the settings tab, next click on the Advance setup for this device, keep clicking on Next until you get to the screen "How do you select channels with your original remote?" select the appropriate selection then update your remote.

Hey squareeyes, could I put in request for XM Holly for the holiday season?
Thanks, Phil
BTW, was there any further process on a custom interface that we discussed several months ago? Do you think Logitech will give us the option to play with with that part of the software or are they going to keep it the way it is?

Hey Phil,
I'll put up XM Holly this weekend.
As far as I can figure from Logitech is that they probably will not allow custom UIs past their existing themes on their current remotes. I've put that side project on the back burner for now.

hey squareeyes, Just got a Harmony one. I have already used some of your excellent slide show avbrand Icons. I was wondering if you could add a few more?
I tried to do it myself but I could not get the geometry of the icons right. Of course this should not be a suprise , I now absolutely nothing on how to do this. The Av brands I would like to see added if not 2 much trouble is :
1: Aerial Acoustics http://www.Aerialacoustics.com
2. Lexicon http://www.lexicon.com
3. NHT http://www.nhthifi.com

Your grafics look great so I sure woul appreciate it if you could do this for myself and the community. Also I think another slideshow catagory of "sports" would be a cool idea for a slide show. If u have the time I would personally like the:
1. Dallas cowboys http://www.dallascowboys.com
2. Texas Longhorns [Link: sportslogos.net]

Again thanks for what u have already done.

Just out of curiosity, is the iconharmony website down? I haven't been able to connect to it all day, I'm receiving a 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable error.

Thanks

a sports theme slide show is a great idea. i'll start with the teams you suggested. i won't be able to get to that update until mid-late december. hopefully in time for xmas. i'll post here when ready.
i'll also add to the av slide .zip if anyone else has any suggestions for those.

Wonderful remote icons. Thank you very much for doing them.

I have two requests:

WLIW
WNYE

Two PBS stations in the NY metro area. If you can do these, thanks in advance!
