Can someone tell me how to program the remote so that
the 'enter' button is hit after I click on a favorite.
Right now there is a few seconds delay before the box
will change channels and I'd like it to be instantaneous.

In the software, click on the device tab, select your device and click on the settings tab, next click on the Advance setup for this device, keep clicking on Next until you get to the screen "How do you select channels with your original remote?" select the appropriate selection then update your remote.
