comandercody,

I had the same problem but unfortunately I don't know exactly what I did to fix it. Here are a few things that I was trying when it started to work:

1. When it prompts you to Open with, browse to your program files/internet explorer folder and select iexplore.exe.

2. Make sure that no other browsers are open. Clearly the software is getting somehow getting confused with .asp file. (As an early poster mentioned, seamonkey is a browser component).

3. Close the Harmony application that appears in your system tray (bottom right corner) and restart the application with no other browsers open.

I'm sorry I can't be more specific. I was troubleshooting my problem and one of the items above seemed to help. Good luck.

I have run into the same problem and tried all the suggestions listed in the posts.

After a long night of trouble shooting I managed to get it to work one more time by doing:
- Upgrading SeaMonkey and then running the uninstall.
- Uninstalling the Harmony software.
- Removing all pointers to the Harmony software in the Reg.
- Reinstalling the Harmony software.

Then while using a new account to setup the remote I was able to run though the setup and program the remote. However when I tried to update the remote a few min latter it failed with the same error. Will have to give up on my laptop and try installing the software on my PC.

Has any one had any luck with Logitech support?
