Hello:
I bought a Sylvania DVD/VCR to hook up to the TV in our bedroom. The unit is about a year old. I have noticed a weird problem with this unit. After about 10 minutes watching a DVD, the audio goes out of synch with the video! If I stop the DVD and start it again, the lip synch is good for about another ten minutes. Has anyone noticed this problem with cheaper DVD units?

Yes. Try reseting the machine. Unplug for several minutes. Perhaps you can contact the company for a reset code that will do a better job.

This may or may not work.

Did it work?

I find lip synch problems to be especially bad when watching DVD's of Milli-Vanilli.

Yes, in case you haven't noticed, DVD's are outselling VHS tapes.

However, unless you can show us that Milli-Vanill DVD's are outselling Milli-Vanill tapes, your statement is a total non sequitur.

(And yes, I got the joke.)

Sorry, I'm a little behind. What is a "good" pun?

Some believe puns are the lowest form of humor.

Others doubt they qualify as humor at all... :)
