I have sold a lot of clients used gear on Ebay over the years and have done very well with it. I typically charged 30%, buyers always covered shipping costs. S/H fees should also gave you a few dollars for your time to deal with packaging and shipping the items.

As for the 103", maybe there is somewhere useful it could go and the client could get a tax recipt for donating it to a worthy institution. Your cost for removal etc could just be tacked onto your billing for everything else your going to be doing.
Find a reputable moving / cartage company that can handle things like Steinway grand pianos or large artworks for moving it.
OR, If you know anyone that owns a box at a stadium, they are always trying to outdo one another, and getting a deal on a 103" might be just the ticket.

I second eBay with Local Pick up required.

If the client doesn't want it anyway, tell him to take what he can get with the least liability on his part.

Seriously consider just taking it off his hand for him. Deal with selling it later or using it yourself. however, since someone said the PQ sucks, you may not want it for yourself.

See if LCD enclosures can make a enclosure for it. If so see if they would like to have it outside. That would all depend on how hard it would be to remove from the home.

Paul, that sucker is over 440Lbs.
Show your client this website: www.bestbuypcs.com/panasonic-th-103pf12u-103-1080p-hd-plasma-display-best-price.html
They have it listed for $10K, new.
Explain that there is little ROI and offer to take it home for free and coordinate the removal.
What happens if someone damages walls/floors moving/removing this monster.
Do you (or your client) really want(s) eBay/Craiglist crown in his(their) house?

Anyone else notice that the set lists 50Hz as the line frequency. Either a mistake on the website, or they are trying to sell product never designed for the US, in the US, which makes this a grey market item, and very likely no warranty.

Paul,
Give me an asking price on the 103" and I'll throw out some feelers.

if they pay me 5 grand i will come and take it... there is no street value. its a used plasma... its 103" but its still used.

seriously 2-5grand would be max.... you can do a very nice entry level projo and screen for less that 4 grand.

I did a little research on the pieces I know about and it adds up to about $130k retail at time of purchase and is worth around $30k today after looking at prices on Audiogone and eBay.

The 103" plasma seems to be the biggest unknown and the item I'm least interested in dealing with.  Seems like it might still command $6-8k if I could find the right buyer.

There's still more at the house that I need to inventory... trying to get back there this week because they're starting to clear the house out for demo.

Quick update on this.  Have a specialty moving company lined up to help get the TV down and transport it about 13 miles.  Figuring 6 guys for about 2hrs. Cost with an additional insurance rider is about $900.

Removed the fabric panels around the TV yesterday and got the speakers out.  The TV will come down Tuesday and all the rest of the equipment will come out of the house for demo that starts next week.

Planning to build a dolly on casters this weekend so I can move the TV around while in storage.  Hope to find a local buyer (Santa Barbara or LA) because crating for freight shipment will be difficult.

It was a really nice room. Sad they are going in another direction.
