Hi all,

I am interested in buying a universal learning remote for my PANASONIC DVD-RV41 DVD/MP3 PLAYER which I never had a remote control, I don't know if any learning remote can pick up all features without the orginal remote?

Also for my panasonic VCR, the remote had been broken for long, and ever since I had not been able to set programs for my favorite TV shows, because the front panel does not support this function. I wonder if there any learning remotes can pick up this function, so I don't have to sit and wait for the programs to start and press REC on the front panel to record before I go out.

Is there anyone could give me some advice on which brand and model really fits my needs, especially for the Panasonic DVD player and VCR that I don't have the original remotes. Thanks.

I assume by Universal Learning Remote you mean something like the Pronto.

I am sending you a MASSIVE ccf that I almost completed for a customer several years ago. It contains two sets of Panasonic VCR codes, cleverly named by the manufacturer 1 and 2. Try these with your VCR. (Of course, you have to have a remote that uses ccfs to try it out.) If this does not work, try downloading different Panasonic VCR setups from the Files section of this site, and try them out. (Of course, you will have to have a remote that uses ccfs to try these out.)

In fact, I was able to search the files section and find that there is no file here for your DVD player because you put the DVD player model number in your post. DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS! I could not help you directly with the VCR because you left out the model number. But check the Files section.

Similarly, download and try different DVD ccfs (Of course....) for Panasonic DVD players. Chances are good that one will work.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
