One thing I've learned in this business( the hard painfull way of course) is just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. When I use a Crestron I opt for contact closure control because it makes sense and actually keeps it simple( If you can call Crestron simple). Using a RC5000 using the IR interface will give you individual Up down and all up and all down with no extra equipment, simplicity and reliability. You might want to price it both ways and then make your decision.
