I have many buttons with a little bit of PS and Action Lists. When the button is clicked the PS executes and then falls through to the Action List and processes the actions. I don't ever use a call to scheduleActions or executeActions when I just want the execution to fall through at the end of the PS.

Tonight I added a few simple setGlobal() commands to set state variables to a button and the PS executes but the actions never do. It just quit.

I removed all the PS and it started working again. Even if I add one simple System.print() command to the button the Actions will not execute.

I don't know where to begin to find the reason for this. Maybe someone has seen this.

A button either executes its Action List or its Prontoscript, never both (unless the script explicitly invokes the action list with an executeActions or ScheduleAfter). It never "falls through" to execute the Action List after running a Prontoscript.

In ProntoEdit, if you've selected the "PS" button when choosing button actions then the script will be executed instead of the Action List.

Oh dear! What was I thinking?
Guess I was up too late...

scheduleActions();

as the last line does the trick, of course! Thanks for waking me up.
