I can assign Volume Up and Volume etc RS232 codes
to soft buttons. These work on "RS232 PORT 1" just fine

But I get no result when programming the same Code into volume UP/Down Hard Buttons.

I do see RS232 Port 1 activity ligth on the front panel of the
RFX9600. But nothing happens on the device

I created a Link on Sytem Panel Property Page Volume Up/Down keys. In the same dialog I Added the appropriate RS232 Codes that work fine from my soft buttons.

I can see the link details when reviewing Device Properties Dialog

The device Properties Dialog has a TAB named settings
From this tab there is a port selection
Option:

The options however are for selecting IR ports only.

Has any one made Hard Buttons to work from a specific
when linked to a Device Page?

Tanks any help appreciated

Yes, I have RS232 codes working from a link for my Denon receiver. Ensure that you are using the LATEST firmware on your TSU9600 as well as on your RFX9600 extender. Report back if this is not the case.

Is the action for the hard button sending an RS-232 command directly or are you triggering a link back to the device page's volume commands? I've done all this just fine with my Sunfire preamp so I know it can work. Using the link instead of RS-232 commands directly may help you troubleshoot the problem though.
