Hi all...I work for Progressive sales, and final pricing is in...
TSU-9600 $1499 cdn
RFX-9600 $699 cdn

This is confirmed and solid pricing.
Dealers are everywhere, however, TSU-9600's will be in short supply upon release. I've already got dealers taking orders for sold units.
Please don't PM me asking for dealers, if you'd like to know if there's a dealer near you in Canada, please call Progressive Sales in Mississauga and they'll be happy to direct you to your nearest dealer. Please call 1-905-624-5196 for info.

Toronto122, I know a few dealers but the problem is they don't know when the 9600s will ship (from distributors such as Progressive Sales). Isn't the 9600 already released (at least in the US as we all know)? When will you be shipping?

Still no sign of any TSU-9600 in the Ottawa area. Are there some anywhere else (in Canada)?

I just purchased one from Sound.SD, He gave me a better price after shipping then I would have found by buying it locally here in Ottawa. He was nice and the unit was at my door 1 day after it shipped.

Talk about great service. And Corey if you read this thanks again.

Thanks Max, I have received a similar testimony from Arthur and have been in touch with Corey via e-mail. However, the exchange rate will bring the price to about the same as the expected Canadian retail price and that's without any custom/duties/taxes. I assume you didn't have to pay any of that?

No I didn't have to pay any customs/duties or taxes. The remote here in Canada sells for $1499.99 then add 14% taxes and it = $1709.98, I wont say exactly what I paid for the unit but I will tell you I got it little more like than $300 and some odd dollars cheaper.

And if you plan on buying any extenders like I plan to {RFX9600}, then you can put the left over money towards that and that is where you will see the real deal you are getting.

The only problem with buying one from the US is that there's no local warranty. You'll have to send it back to the states for service should anything go wrong.
To some people that's worth some extra money.

We (Progressive Sales) are hoping to have them in by tuesday (tomorrow)!!!! I've already got one on hold for me and my sample account! I'll post as soon as I see them arrive in the warehouse.

PS: When's the file section opening up for the 9600?

Toronto122, if you can confirm availability, I will go to my local dealer to order one now (well, when they're open actually).

Ok, still no word, there was a problem with ordering from Philips. They should be in by next wednesday and then shipped asap. Where's your local dealer?

Got mine here in Ottawa from Stephane at StereoPlus & Design for less than the Canadian MSRP.

This thread is over 1 year old. Did you notice the date on the last post? You will likely have better luck emailing Sylvain @ address on profile if you can find it.
