Heres the setup.....
Living Room - 2 Stacked 46" Samsung LCD
Master - 40" above LCD
Guest - 40" LCD

Equipment in a rack centrally located....
HD DVR Cable Box Motorola
HD Cable Box Motorola
PS3 Slim
Sony DN-1000 Reciever
APC H15 Power Conditioner
Monoprice 4x4 HDMI Matrix Switch
Nintendo Wii

I dont know which remotes to use either....customer wants the mx-3000 & mx-810. Now will this work with the mrf-350 & a mrf-260? Or should i get the msc-400? thanks
Knowing that Gold went up a few K makes me think "well now I have to do a better job on selling more equipment".

Dependent on how budget sensitive the situation is I would probably go with the MSC-400 if those cable boxes don't have discrete on and off. That being said, any of them will work. The MRF-260 only has 4 emitters though.

I do have a couple of questions/comments though.

1. I would not recommend the mx-810 for any application with centralized equipment because power state tracking will cause some interesting challenges. If your customer like the form-factor you might consider the mx-880.

2. Where is the central closet? Will the Wii controllers will have the range to get there?

customer ended up buying 1 810 on ebay new for $109 shipped so we will use that & dont know if we should just stay with the 810s all the way arround or different remotes.

i was thinking of pairing it with the mrf-350 & 260....will they both work togethor? thanks

i have tested the wii 50' away & it worked so we will be getting the powered wireless sensor bars in everry room. well see if it works :)

Keeping the same remote makes it easier for your customer (same button layout, familiarity, ect,). Most likely you'll still need to program all of them separately. Yes, the MRF's work well together.
