I haven't used one, but from what I've seen on the Tivo forums, they are the same as Series 2. They come set on ID "0" which will essentially take any Tivo code. If you have more than one, you have to change both IDs to one of the others in the database (or use an MRF with IR routing of course). Happy Holidays! Mike www.SurfRemoteControl.com

Mike, Thanks! I thought there were some new buttons on the Series 3 remote, but I am not 100% certain. I'll give it a shot. At the very least, the primary functions will work. Thank you, Damon DG = = = = = http://www.ProRemotes.com - Authorized Dealer & Remote Programming Services

There is an aspect button on the S3 remote that is called the "Window" button from the S2 file. I think that's the only change.

Aspect and Window do the same thing on the Series 3.
And the 1, 2, etc codes in the URC database work fine for multiple TiVo units.

I have had a series 3 for several months, and I just used the Series 2 codes from the database, and everything worked fine. The database even has a "List" button which I do not think is on the supplied remote.
I may have "learned" the aspect button, but from the above posts, this may not be necessary. (It's not a great button, anyway.)

I am getting spotty results with a series 3 install, have you all added resistors in line? are you putting the emitters directly on the unit over the window?
