There are a lot more features than you're seeing in the screen shot I posted. It's still MX-Editor, but it has some smarts to deal with the difference between the hard button environment and the touch screen environment of the MX-3000. This remote will also be getting a larger assortment of templates than any of our previous remotes (the files for that are ready... we're just preparing the secondary installer).

Here's another quick screen shot. This one's a bit crowded to show a little more.

Guys, one thing to really look at on the MX-980 is the dpi of the screen. The 980 screen is just about as tall as the 3000 screen, but the two screens have the same number of pixels (240x320 vs 320x240). That means that the images on the 980 screen are amazingly sharp and bright.

Take a look at any of the screen thumbnails in the screen shots I posted, and then iamgine that same image squeezed down to about 1.9 inches tall. It's very, very crisp.

If you can't tell, I'm excited to finally be able to talk about this remote!

Best regards,
Dale

Keep talking.........
I'm excited to hear about it!!

I can't wait to get my hands on one to see how it works out with my own critics(my house) so I can sell it to my clients with confidence.

2008 could be a very good year.

Yes, the remote and editor are available now. I'm in R&D, so I don't really know who has them in stock at this point.

Best regards,
Dale

The MX980 has not shipped to any dealers as I'm told, but some of the pro's who attended CEDIA and ordered them while at URC classes have received them. The first load to dealers should go out by the end of November.

URC is supposed to ship approx 1000 to 1500 units in the next week. (I'm hoping we get a big enough allocation to fill our preorders). They're then supposed to ship something like 10,000 additional units in December. Hopefully this will keep up with demand through the holidays.

So im programing one now for a client. And i couldnt figure out how to move buttons between pages.
So im scaning through "file-edit--etc... " and i get to Help.
Theres a programing manual.
So i scan through it. It says Go to "Page View" and then hold down "shift+alt" then click drag you buttons.

This works like a charm.

But as i went through the programming manual loading aTemplate they had all kinds
Alpha v1 samples The one that is in my editor then

Alpha v3
bad blood
football
gloss
gold mountain
parchment
relax
seaside
space port
text only The other one in my editor
woodwook
Zen.

My question is How do i get these Templates?
they look like the ones from MX3000? Can I import them?

Thanks
