So an Authorized URC message (Dale's out) said the MX5000 would have browser capabilities, in no less than an week ago? Doubt it.
After a chat with the other guys on my team, they remembered where it was we saw that. It was actually said in the two-way control webinar with URC back about a week ago or so. There were 4 of us listening and watching that webinar, and we all kind of looked at each other when he (John I think) said it, since it sounded crazy to us. He can deny it, or URC could deny it, but less than 2 weeks ago, we were directly told there would be a browser for the 5000. I'm not saying they're not right for not going through with it or whatever. I personally don't care. I'd never sell a customer a remote with a browser function enabled, it's just asking for trouble. However, it seems reckless to promise apps that aren't followed through with. It's not crazy to think someone is going to take that "official" information and use it to sell a product.
Disclaimer: I love URC remotes and own several MX-5000's.
