Thanks Guys - No I hadn't looked there - I'd ignored the "remote specific" areas initially and was looking at the code library downloads etc. so thanks for that it looks very promising.
Regarding getting the raw codes into the Harmony I think that I need to specifically request a custom button/action to be setup using the raw codes I supply and then the support folk create a "Custom LG" TV for me only which can then download to my remote and uit stays in my remote account details etc.
I realised that the link to the convertor device was entirely due to the vagueness of my original post ;)
