All 232 commands get programmed in the MSC400. You will have to duplicate the components buttons on the 6000. Then you use the universal browser to drag the triggers to the macro box on each corresponding button.

You will want to program you macros in the MSC400. All the 6000 should do is send a trigger and the MSC400 will fire the macros.
