Unfortunately, the UPB PIM requires 5V on the DTR line and the RFX9600 does not provide this. However, you can create a workable solution if you wish to make a custom cable between the two devices. You can provide a constant 5V to the DTR line by utilizing the 5V output from the RFX9600 power sense terminal. Probably the easiest way to do this would be to slice into a M/F DB9 cable and make a jumper wire on from the DTR line to the 5V output on the RFX9600. I had to do this with my HomeVision (Home Automation System) controller as well.
