i tried a different channel,
he's seperated by a thin wall of sheetrock,
and about 15 feet ..
im gonna try and move it to behind the tv. .
but still a pain that the error comes up all the time.
he says 1 out of 5 times it comes up (button presses)
any other solutions?
By drop outs you mean RF "command Failures"? You know how to check signal strength right? I see these more than I'd like, but usually 1 in about 20-30 commands. It was worse before I upgraded the firmware. The Command failure rate does go up near the edge of the range.
My latest theory (for in range failures) is that the unit goes into sleep mode if not used and takes a second to wake up. My failures are usually the first command after laying it down for awhile. When upstairs and separated by about 25 feet, a floor and 2 sheetrock walls it is about 1 in 10. The signal strength is on the edge in that situation.
