i find where theres multiple zones involved and long channel
lists, it can become a big [bit] long winded.

when it came out i thought it would have been more popular
for us having more hard buttons on it i thought would
have made it quite attractive to some customers, but the
9400/9600 still sell in FAR larger quantities.

Not a surprise. I suspect the Pronto Touchscreen (installer?) market looks at the TSU 9200 as an ideological threat. And the 9400/9600 have a lot of sales and support momentum. I suspect the 9200 was originally supposed to be a URC / Harmony buster but classic business models say you have to spend a lot of money to overcome market leaders (e.g. Amazon Harmony 880 reviews are in excess of 1,500, TSU 9200 has just two - I may add one.). Philips seems confused as to how to market this orphaned unit in the US. If you see the 9200 at Costco I bet it will start moving then. So far Philips seems to have stuck with the 9400/9600 channels - probably a mistake depending on their strategy. In my experience, European companies are very conservative in their distribution strategies.

By channel lists I assume you mean Favorites as cable/tv channels. And that using the spin ring is a bit cumbersome. If so I think that is a user interface preference. BTW I got 16 Channels on my 3000 per page, the 9200 gets 6.

If you are talking about creating a long Favorites list consistently, I just created a "MyLogo" directory in the gallery and moved the "_B" files to it. I then select the directory and drag the logos to the Fav list. Sorting them can be time consuming sometimes I agree.

Of course if you install or use in the same area you can start with a completed template and make minor modifications.
