I tried the 9200's RF and in my area it did not work reliably. Ultimately I gave up and reverted to IR.
For simple systems and inexperienced users who can't justify the cost or have never seen a well programmed higher end unit, the 9200 might be the ticket.
Since I have been working with Pronto's for many years, the 9200's wizard programming style and rather limited screen layout capability are complete a turnoff for me.
As a $100 DIY device, it has some merit.
