You might want to put a video switch in the power off command. For instance...the first 3 steps in the power off macro would be 1. Video 2. Input number (i.e. "3") 3. Power off.
Even if I have the AVR switching video I always do this with power off so that if the customer switches the input accidentially, they can reset everything with a power off and power on. I would take it and the AVR to the cable or satellite input since this is what is most watched.
