Here is one way to determine if it could be something
within the remote or RF issues. Set the entire remote
to IR only, then save and download the file to your remote.
Test the commands while pointing directly at your equipment.
If the equipment responds immediately, then the issue
it directly related to RF.
This morning I tried part of what you suggested. I downloaded the new update on 10/20 then changed the satellite to IR only, saved and sent the file to the remote. This morning as I was surfing the sat guide, I hit page up and about 2-3 seconds later it paged. There were a few times when there was no response at all. It does not happen very often. I have not been able to see any pattern to it. But the same problems showed up several times with the sat on IR only.
When this is all over, we'll be smarter.
