Here is one way to determine if it could be something within the remote or RF issues. Set the entire remote to IR only, then save and download the file to your remote. Test the commands while pointing directly at your equipment. If the equipment responds immediately, then the issue it directly related to RF.
If the IR mode is working properly, try creating a new file with one or two of your components in RF only - but use a stock template from the MX-3000 Editor. See if there is any difference in response time. If your components respond immediately, then it was likely your file. If they do not, then it could be something in the remote itself not sending the signal right away.
