I'm trying to program this remote for an Arcam AVR-350. Everything works just fine except for control of Zone 2 (on/off/volume) using the IR codes downloaded from Universal for the AVR-300.
The Zone 2 buttons just don't work properly. If I manually press the Zone 2 button on the receiver I am then able to use the remote buttons successfully. After the receiver is powered down and then turned on again if I do not press the receiver's Zone 2 button the remote's Zone 2 buttons do not seem to work. What happens is if I press the Zone 2 "on" button the receiver briefly switches Zone 2 on, but it kicks out within a split second. I really don't know what to do here. The receivers manual says Zone 2 "on" is controlled by RC-5 system code 16 command 47. Any suggestions how I can try this on my MX-850.
