That works great but there are times when I'm recording
something and I don't want to see the recorded show.

- I assume that when you are recording a program, the Tivo will display what you are recording, like most DVR's... I still follow you!

So I made a second button to not go to the Tivo but just
goes to the Tivo menu and then I push the first button
to go over to the Tivo.

- This is where I am lost a little, I am not sure if you just want the Tivo menu to come up on the TV screen while switching to input 3? If so, its pretty easy.

My Question...
Is there a way to program 1 button to activate the Tivo
menu and then go to the TV input (Tivo)?

- Yes, the macro would be two commands, one being a "menu" command, and the other being an "input" command.

I have tried learning, copy/pasting the command. Nothing
is working

- What are you trying to learn, and what codes are you copying and pasting, since the macro window lets you record your commands from the pages and pages of IR codes.

Thanks for any help,
Debbie

I hope that was of some help,
Joey
