Yes.
The power up delay with IR and 232 are at least 3-4 seconds longer than previous models. The 232 is shorter but that is consistant with past models.
The 3808 and up are quicker surprisingly (6 seconds to be safe) but the lower models are about 8 seconds.
I noticed that the 2308 has about an 8 second control lag and an additional audio lag after you hear the amps click on.
