Being the resident uni guru at my company, I was confident in my capabilities to program the new state of the art mx-810 for two separate theater systems (I know, why not sell another remote?). Upon examining the software, I realized that the handy dandy wizard isn't really set up to allow the programmer to create buttons meant only to jump to a specific page, not necessarily a device. example: I can't create a button that says THEATER and then have it jump to a page to select activities for that room. I suppose you try to create a device using a blank template, and then embed macros in the buttons to take you to specific activities labeled per room, but that seems like an awful lot of work to go through when you have to go all the way through the wizard to find out if it will even work.. Does anyone know an easier way, or is the solution to do a 900 or 980?
