Your answers to my questions were excellent, I am now running in north american mode with the latest firmware.

I will not be taking my AV equipment with me to canada because of the voltage differences which is an excellent excuse to upgrade everything :) I will be taking my speakers with me though which are the most expensive part of my setup.

Now I just have to get the EPG to work as I have the same problem with it not connecting as others have described in defferent threads.
