Thanks for the tips. I checked the AC adaptor and found it works fine. I moved to different outlets but all with the same results. I also substituted the stock adaptor with a universal one I have. Still no luck. All signs now point to the charging base itself...no charging ability and no blue lights.

Assuming the unit is beyond warranty period, is it reasonable to send it in for repairs? Also, is there a source for replacing the charging base without purchasing another battery pack (since I now have two)?
