Thanks Guys! I had just figured out that the last two groups of 4 digits are actually the command. I guess the first four groups are "standard" for this TV because I got the same result in PENG as the string you gave, johnsfine. Does this mean that the first four groups of the IR code will always be the same for each Device? Thanks for the help!! In an effort to give back should I post the Hitachi code list I have? GT
