I've found the accuracy of the Touch Screen on the 9600 to be way more accurate than that of the 7000. I know the 9400 will be a different top but the 9600 works well with the pad of a finger, even with smaller buttons. There are some cases on some screens I've designed that I do use a stylus but not normally. Such screens are level controls for my receiver, etc. Many buttons on the screen but not accessed that often.
